There was a mishap in class a couple of days ago, all the dramatic hand swinging & scratching of face. Scaring a healthy face, caused by anger & to "help her classmate". Unfortunately ended up having to face the compensation alone. Of course, with the presence of the police.
I wonder, do you really think they treated you as a friend?? If you're thinking why am I saying this, then alright, I shall give you a couple of scenarios which you may find it a little complicated or rather clear.
Scenario #01.
You decided to get into a fight, well, it happened just too suddenly. And you know it wasn't even you who should do this, which means, you were just helping your "friend" to get back on somebody. In short, your just some "extra" who just wanted to help. Whereas, during the catfight, your "friends" just watch you. They were stunned, so they just sat down in peace & watch the show going on when you were in trouble. The fight got so bad that the other party's friends had to pull the both of you apart. Without any help from your own "friends".
Alright, it does seems a little complicated but hey, I think this is worth thinking.
Scenario #02.
Continueing to the story, the other party called the police. The police came in, looking for the 2 victims & their witnesses. Your opponent already had a bunch of witnesses willing to help her. Whereas, on the other hand, your "friends" were walking backwards. It is so obvious that you had to call them over, asking them to follow you along to the investigation. Your "friends" were rather shaky in their thoughts, trying to make a decission. They were taking up too much time that the police, your opponent & your opponent's witnesses had to wait for you & your "friends". As you were shouting for them, asking & calling them over, just to help you in your own rush act.
Is this example clear enough for you to exercise on? It's okay if it isn't enough.
Scenario #03.
Another example, a simpler idea. Think, normally, if you were to insult someone, your friend would at least smile & laugh at it to show you support. But what if you shouted an insult to a fella & your "friend" just look & turned away or didn't even bother to know what you were trying to do. This shows no support. This example is more of a minor problem which can be ignored. However, you will eventually get very irritated if they keep on ignoring you which drains your personal ego.
Hope this would enlighten your thoughts on judging your "true friends". Because, true friends are someone who would really be there for you. Not someone who doesn't care about your well-being.
True friends have to be earned by trustworthiness, respect yourself, before you even expect others to respect you.
It is not easy to find good friends in this world. So treasure yourself & your friends will treasure you.
Thank you my friends, :) I love you guys just as much as I love myself. :D Well, if you know me, I am a very thick-skin fella who typically love to praise myself. This is how much I love myself & how much I love you guys too! :)
